The Jana Sena Party (JSP) is organising its plenary at Pithapuram from March 12 to 14. It will commence with a session for the delegates on March 12 and culminate in a public meeting to be addressed by party president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan on March 14.

It was on March 14, 2014, that the JSP had been founded.

Speaking at a core committee meeting organised in this connection at the party office, near Mangalagiri in Guntur district, on January 3, 2025 (Friday), JSP political affairs committee chairman and Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar said Mr. Pawan Kalyan had formed the party with a broad vision for public good, and he successfully took it forward amidst daunting challenges. “The JSP is now playing a major role in the coalition government,” Mr. Manohar said.

The plenary would highlight how Mr. Pawan Kalyan thwarted the designs of the rival parties to stifle its growth and spell out what it planned to do for the people in the coming years. Various committees were constituted to realise the party’s objectives.

Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh, Kakinada MP T. Uday Srinivas, MLC P. Hariprasad, MLAs Pantham Nanaji, Lokam Madhavi, Arava Sridhar and Bolisetti Srinivas, MSME Corporation Chairman T. Siva Shankar and party leaders B. Mahender Reddy, N. Shankar Goud, Kona Tata Rao and Kalyanam Siva Srinivas were among those present in the preparatory meeting.
