A deputy Commissioner’s office was attacked, and a police official was injured as fresh violence erupted in Manipur’s Kangpokpi town on Friday.

A group of people was seen marching towards the Deputy Commissioner’s office and attacking the administrative headquarters in the Kangpokpi town, police said.

A fresh bout of violence was seen in the Kuki and tribal-dominated hilly district of Kangpokpi as the situation remained extremely tense.
